About Me

Bela
My husband and I have had a crush on each other since the day we met, in 2000. Even though it tooks us a long time to get our love in-sync and finally "get it right", I am now the happiest woman in the world (i.e. now that we are together). I met my husband at work of all places. In 2006, I was living in Singapore, he was there for business, and upon finding out that I was there, he went looking for me in the crazy streets of lovely Singapore. I guess he had a crush on me too. I returned to the US in July. In October we kissed. In November we vacationed in FLA and I met his family. In December he flew to Brazil to meet my parents. In March, we got engaged. In April, we eloped. In August, we got pregnant. In November, we had our religious cerimony in Brazil, in front of our friends and families. Talk about super-quick life-changes? In one year, I went from being a woman who didn't really believe in fairy tales to actually living one. This blog is about love, fears, companionship, anxieties, change, family, compassion, pregnancy, our daughter and foremost, about my husband's and my incredibly commitment to each other.
